I just finished Wuthering Heights and am now on to To Kill a Mockingbird. I am currently working through the classics. What do you like to do in your spare time? / What are your hobbies? VISION ’19 - hands down! I got to work on that event for a full year and I often would refer to it as “my baby.” I think of an event like VISION as one giant puzzle and it’s so fulfilling to see all of the pieces come together. What do you consider your greatest achievement? So, trying to make everyone happy all the time is definitely a challenge. I am a natural born people pleaser, and so when I’m planning something fun for a hundred people, you are always going to have someone that would have rather done something else. What’s the most challenging thing about your job? These days I just do accents around the office. I guess that’s what happens when you’re put in theater camps at the age of 4. As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?Īn actress. Kayley: “I try to get in as much as I can I come 2-3x/week”Ĭourtney: What is your favorite part of the CRR and why? We wanted to learn more about Kayley’s experience running and what role recovery played in her making her way downstate, so we had her sit down with Courtney Dynes to answer a few questions.

Kayley has been coming to the Chicago Recovery Room- Oak Lawn all season to keep her legs fresh for practice, meets and the everyday life of a high school athlete. This Saturday Kayley Burke, a junior at Evergreen Park High School, will be competing at the State Finals in cross country down at Detweiller Park.
